Accounts and Project Management

Tell us a bit about your career and your journey to elina:

I went to Uni in Oslo and to Griffith University, Brisbane Australia and studied International Marketing and Web Copy.

I ran my own Digital Design company in Oslo from 2000-2007, mainly working on web projects. I was a project manager in an advertising agency from 2008-2009 and then nine years as a store manager for a Kitchen supplier in my home town Horten, Norway. Finally, I am now back in my right element with the best job I have ever had.

What do you like most about working for elina?

What I enjoy the most about my job for elinaPMS and Vestibule Marketing is the variety of my responsibility and tasks and the international dynamic of our team and our company. I work closely with Christopher and also the Concierge team with onboarding and the Wecare team as a project manager.

Tell us a bit about your life outside of work....

I normally start my work day around 6 am UK time and sometimes work until late in the afternoon or weekend. The flexibility of working from home makes it easy to put in long hours. This also allows me to spend time training with my English Setter and go hunting. We mainly hunt grouse, but we also compete where we hunt Pheasant and Partridges.

I have a 17-year-old son Sebastian. He is soon to be 18 and getting his licence. He is my light and joy and we love to listen to music (I am not alowed to put on POP. Very important.)

I have a small family, my mom and dad and brother here in Horten and also my chosen family of close friends. We often cook and goes to concerts and music festivals.

Have you any funny career incidents that you can't get out of your head?

Career incident of the century for me personally was my interview with Vestibule. I crashed and burned. It was terrible. But I managed to sneak my way in. No idea how ;)

What is your mantra to success?

My mantra; "A little less conversation, little more action" or as Pat says: "Get stuff done".

I believe in humanity and kindness. But also, a firm, steady leadership that goes in front as a good example. Always be kind to one another to make each other better.
